Monovision

Monovision sets one eye in focus for distance and your other eye in focus near for reading.

In 9 out of 10 people after 3-4 weeks practice your brain will blend both together so you just see far and near without knowing which eye does what. As only one eye does each however, for very demanding far and close tasks, such as driving at night in the rain, or threading a needle, some patients may still perform these tasks more comfortably with the help of a thin pair of spectacles.
